A rich and decadent dessert that combines the flavors of classic baklava with creamy cheesecake, topped with crunchy pistachios.

  • 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 cups cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup crushed pistachios
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 cup honey
  • 1/2 cup water

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F (163°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs and melted butter, then press into the bottom of a springform pan.
  3. In a large bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Add vanilla and eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  4. Fold in crushed pistachios and cinnamon.
  5. Pour the cheesecake mixture over the crust and smooth the top.
  6. Bake for 50-60 minutes, until the edges are set but the center is slightly jiggly.
  7. While the cheesecake bakes, combine honey and water in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Simmer for 10 minutes, then let cool.
  8. Once baked, let the cheesecake cool and drizzle with honey syrup before serving.

Notes

  • For a richer flavor, you can add more crushed pistachios on top.
  • Ensure the cream cheese is softened for easier mixing.
