A delightful dessert that combines the richness of custard with fresh berries.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup mixed berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries)
  • 2 cups milk
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup cornstarch
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 3 large egg yolks
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 package puff pastry sheets

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Roll out the puff pastry and cut it into squares.
  3. Place the pastry squares into muffin tins.
  4. In a saucepan, combine milk, sugar, cornstarch, and salt, and cook until thickened.
  5. Remove from heat and whisk in egg yolks and vanilla.
  6. Pour the custard mixture into the pastry cups, then top with mixed berries.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the pastry is golden.
