Ingredients

  • 2 pounds chicken thighs
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup rice vinegar
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon grated ginger
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons water

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, garlic, ginger, sesame oil, and red pepper flakes.
  2. Add the chicken thighs and marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  4. Transfer the chicken to a baking dish and bake for 25-30 minutes, basting halfway through.
  5. In a small saucepan, bring the marinade to a boil. Mix cornstarch and water, then stir into the sauce to thicken.
  6. Pour the thickened sauce over the baked chicken. Serve warm.
