A deliciously tender and flavorful beef dish, slow roasted to perfection with an Asian-inspired caramelized sauce.

  • 2 pounds beef brisket
  • 1 cup soy sauce
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 inches ginger, sliced
  • 1/4 cup sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 300°F (150°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, ginger, sesame oil, rice vinegar, and black pepper.
  3. Place the beef brisket in a roasting pan and pour the sauce over it, ensuring it is well covered.
  4. Cover the pan with foil and roast for 3 to 4 hours until tender.
  5. Remove the foil for the last 30 minutes to allow for caramelization.
  6. Let the beef rest for 15 minutes before slicing.
