- 2 pounds chicken thighs, boneless and skinless
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 tablespoons hoisin sauce
- 2 tablespoons Chinese rice wine
- 1 teaspoon five-spice powder
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
- In a bowl, combine soy sauce, honey, hoisin sauce, rice wine, five-spice powder, garlic, and ginger.
- Add chicken thighs to the marinade. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Place chicken on a baking sheet lined with foil.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, basting with marinade halfway through.
- Remove from oven, let rest for 5 minutes, then slice and serve.
