- 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 cup unsalted butter, at room temperature
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
- 2 large eggs
- 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a small bowl, mix the flour and baking soda; set aside.
- In a large bowl, beat the butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and salt until creamy.
- Add the vanilla and eggs; beat well.
- Gradually blend in the flour mixture.
- Stir in the chocolate chips.
- Drop by rounded tablespoon onto ungreased baking sheets.
- Bake for 9 to 11 minutes or until golden brown.
- Cool on the sheets for a few minutes before transferring to wire racks.
