A delicious and healthy twist on the classic chili mac, incorporating turkey bacon and chicken ham for added flavor.

  • 1 pound elbow macaroni
  • 1 cup turkey bacon, chopped
  • 1 cup chicken ham, diced
  • 2 cups kidney beans, drained and rinsed
  • 2 cups diced tomatoes
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook the elbow macaroni according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, cook the turkey bacon until crispy.
  3. Add the chicken ham, kidney beans, diced tomatoes, and spices to the skillet.
  4. Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a simmer.
  5. Add the cooked elbow macaroni to the skillet and stir to combine.
  6. If using, sprinkle cheese on top and cover until melted.
  7. Serve warm.

Notes

  • For a vegetarian option, omit the turkey bacon and chicken ham.
