- 2 pounds boneless chicken thighs
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup bourbon
- 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons water
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- In a large skillet, combine chicken thighs, chicken broth, brown sugar, soy sauce, bourbon, apple cider vinegar, garlic, and ginger.
- Bring the mixture to a simmer over medium heat. Cook until the chicken is cooked through, about 20 minutes.
- Remove the chicken from the pan and set aside.
- In a small bowl, mix cornstarch and water to create a slurry. Stir into the sauce and cook until thickened.
- Add the chicken back to the pan and coat with the sauce. Drizzle with sesame oil before serving.
