1 tablespoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
2 large eggs
1 cup milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup maple syrup
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
In a large bowl, mix together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
In another bowl, whisk together the melted butter, eggs, milk, vanilla extract, and maple syrup.
Combine the wet and dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread evenly.
Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
Allow to cool completely before glazing.
Notes
For a richer flavor, you can add 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon to the batter.
