  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1/4 cup lime juice
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, whisk together the olive oil, lime juice, garlic, brown sugar, cumin, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper.
  2. Place the chicken breasts in a zip-top bag and pour the marinade over them. Seal the bag and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or overnight for best results.
  3. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  4. Remove the chicken from the marinade and discard the remaining marinade.
  5. Grill the chicken for 6-7 minutes on each side or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
  6. Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before slicing and serving.
