  • 4 medium russet potatoes
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or pepper jack)
  • 1/2 cup green onions, chopped
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup ranch dressing

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Cut the potatoes into thin fries and soak them in water for 30 minutes.
  3. Drain and pat dry the potatoes, then toss them with olive oil and seasonings.
  4. Spread the fries on a baking sheet and bake for 30-35 minutes until golden and crispy.
  5. Remove fries from the oven and sprinkle with cheese and green onions.
  6. Return to the oven for an additional 5 minutes to melt the cheese.
  7. Serve hot with sour cream and ranch dressing.

Notes
