A delicious and comforting dish that combines the creamy goodness of mac and cheese with hearty meatloaf flavors, all topped with crispy turkey bacon.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 8 ounces elbow macaroni
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 3 slices turkey bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook macaroni according to package directions; drain.
  3. In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  4. Add cooked macaroni, milk, and half of the cheddar cheese to the turkey mixture; stir well.
  5. Transfer mixture to a greased casserole dish; top with remaining cheddar cheese and crumbled turkey bacon.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes or until heated through and cheese is bubbly.
