1 cup butter, softened
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup granulated sugar
2 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
3 cups Rice Krispies cereal
1 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a large bowl, cream together the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar.
Add the eggs and vanilla, mixing until well combined.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add to the butter mixture.
Stir in the Rice Krispies and chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
Drop spoonfuls of dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Bake for 9-11 minutes or until golden brown.
Remove from the oven and let cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to wire racks to cool completely.
