  • 8 ounces turkey bacon, finely chopped
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 package puff pastry sheets
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the chopped turkey bacon until crispy.
  3. Add onion and garlic, and sauté until the onions are translucent.
  4. In a large bowl, combine the cooked turkey bacon mixture with ground beef, salt, pepper, and paprika.
  5. Roll out the puff pastry sheets on a lightly floured surface and cut them into rectangles.
  6. Place a spoonful of the meat mixture onto one half of each rectangle.
  7. Fold the pastry over and seal the edges with a fork.
  8. Brush the tops with the beaten egg for a golden finish.
  9. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
