Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Beat in the eggs one at a time, and stir in the vanilla.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, cream of tartar, ground cinnamon, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients until just combined.
  6. In a small bowl, mix together 1/4 cup sugar and 1 tablespoon cinnamon for rolling.
