  • 1 whole chicken, cut into pieces
  • 1 cup plain yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons tandoori masala
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
  • 1 tablespoon garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix yogurt, tandoori masala, ginger, garlic, lemon juice, turmeric, cumin, paprika, and salt.
  2. Add chicken pieces to the marinade, ensuring they are well coated. Cover and marinate for at least 2 hours, preferably overnight.
  3. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  4. Arrange the marinated chicken pieces on a baking tray and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken is fully cooked and slightly charred.
  5. Serve hot with naan or rice.

Notes

  • For spicier chicken, add more tandoori masala.
