A delicious twist on classic meatloaf with added flavors of loaded potatoes and turkey bacon.

  • 2 pounds ground turkey
  • 1 cup mashed potatoes
  • 1/2 cup turkey bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 cup shredded cheese
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine ground turkey, mashed potatoes, turkey bacon, cheese, breadcrumbs, parsley, eggs, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Mix well until all ingredients are thoroughly combined.
  4. Transfer the mixture into a greased casserole dish and shape it into a loaf.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 60-75 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  6. Let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

  • For a spicier flavor, add diced jalapeños to the mixture.
  • Serves well with a fresh salad.
