  • 2 cups fresh Thai basil leaves
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon fish sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 package rice paper wrappers
  • 1 cup vermicelli noodles, cooked

Instructions

  1. In a pan, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat.
  2. Add minced garlic and ground beef, cooking until the beef is browned.
  3. Stir in soy sauce, fish sauce, and sugar; mix well.
  4. Remove from heat and fold in Thai basil leaves and cooked vermicelli noodles.
  5. Soak rice paper wrappers in warm water for about 30 seconds until soft.
  6. Add a spoonful of beef mixture to the center of each wrapper and roll tightly.
  7. Serve with your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add chili paste to the beef mixture.
