  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 4 packages (8 ounces each) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • ¼ cup all-purpose flour

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C).
  2. In a medium bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs and melted butter until combined, then press into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan.
  3. In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth. Gradually add sugar and mix well.
  4. Add the vanilla extract and mix again. Then, add the eggs one at a time, mixing on low speed after each addition.
  5. Stir in the sour cream and flour until just combined.
  6. Pour the cheesecake batter over the crust and smooth the top.
  7. Bake for 50-60 minutes until the edges are set and the center slightly jiggles.
  8. Turn off the oven and let the cheesecake cool inside with the door slightly ajar for 1 hour.
  9. Remove from the oven and chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours before serving.
