  • 1 cup rice
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 2 cups vegetable broth
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
  2. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
  3. Stir in turmeric and cook for another minute.
  4. Add the rice to the pan and stir to coat with the oil and spices.
  5. Pour in the vegetable broth and add salt and pepper.
  6. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low, cover and simmer for 18-20 minutes.
